radar.gif (26,807 bytes) The Wormhole will warp you to a random location on the map when you fly into it. It's gravitational pull often surprises uncautious pilots flying past it. When your ship get caught in it, your ship will be warped to a random spot on the map with zero energy left. This means that you are in mortal danger, and that even one single bullet will make that little vessel go boom. All other objects that move into the wormhole simply cease to exist.

Smart pilots use this knowledge to their advantage to escape from a dangerous situation, and get rid of any pursuers. If you're at an energy disadantage, then you can run into a wormhole. Wormholes change their destination every 10 seconds, so it's possible to follow someone who just escaped. If someone does, then you will have some energy left by the time the pursuer emerges from the wormhole. One slow bomb near the spot where you emerged should be enough to waste him.

Expert pilots will find wormholes a good way to kill people. They will fire bombs in such a way that they will keep spinning around the wormhole until they "time-out" or hit an enemy. If you're good, you can make shield of bombs spinning around the wormhole. Unaware players will be really surprised by this rarely-seen thing, and fly straight into the wall of death.
